Carrix Felth was a pilot in the Galactic Empire's Imperial Starfighter Corps.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] Felth held the rank of lieutenant and flew a TIE/IN interceptor during the Battle of Endor, in which the Alliance to Restore the Republic attacked the Empire's Death Star II superweapon while it was under construction in the Endor system.[1]
The pilot took part in the opening attack wave of TIEs and while flying head on into Alliance starfighters, captured an image of the battle with the Interceptor's gun camera that showed enemy and friendly vessels with the Death Star and the moon Endor visible in the background. The Alliance eventually destroyed the Death Star and won the battle.[1] In 35 ABY,[3] the historian Beaumont Kin included the image from Felth's gun camera in his book, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
Carrix Felth was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
