Carida Corsairs was a pirate gang active for over two hundred years before the Galactic War. Once a formidable threat to the Perlemian Trade Route, the gang suffered a big loss when their base on Carida was destroyed by a Republic strike force. As a result, the Corsairs were soon torn apart, and the group's survivors became a laughing stock to the galaxy. By 3637 BBY they maintained a notable presence in the Raider's Cove town on Rishi.[1]
