Canyon adder

Canyon adders were a type of venomous snake. While on the Outer Rim planet Akiva[1] in 4 ABY,[2] the woman Esmelle criticized her sister, the New Republic pilot Norra Wexley, for abandoning her son to join the Rebel Alliance. Wexley was infuriated by her sister's words, mentally comparing her to a venomous canyon adder.[1]

Behind the scenes

Canyon adders were mentioned in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
