Cantu Fallum was a Force-sensitive Dokora[1] who served as a Jedi of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. In 132 BBY,[3] he was among the Jedi assembled by Master Vernestra Rwoh for a covert mission to the planet Brendok to locate the missing Jedi Master Sol. Upon arrival, Fallum joined the search at a fortress where Sol’s body was discovered, later pursuing the Force-sensitive twins Osha and Mae Aniseya.[2]
Biography
A member of the amphibious Dokora species, Cantu Fallum served as a Jedi during the final years of the High Republic Era. During or shortly before 132 BBY, Fallum undertook a peacekeeping mission to the ocean-covered world of Ando, home to the Aqualish species. Known for his terse and straightforward demeanor, he successfully mediated a truce between warring Aqualish factions, an accomplishment that earned him their respect.[1]
Later in 132 BBY, Fallum was present at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant when Master Vernestra Rwoh received confirmation from Padawan Mog Adana that Master Sol’s transponder beacon had been reactivated on Brendok. Seeking to investigate without drawing attention, Rwoh instructed Adana to quietly gather several Jedi Knights, with Fallum among those selected. Departing aboard Rwoh’s vessel, the Jedi arrived on Brendok and landed in a forest clearing near a fortress.
Following Rwoh into the structure, Fallum and the others reached its courtyard, where they discovered the lifeless body of Master Sol. Rwoh quickly issued orders, sending Fallum and several Jedi to track the Aniseya twins while others established a perimeter. Guided by the Tynnan tracker Bazil, Fallum’s group navigated through the wooded terrain until they reached a massive bunta tree, where they encountered Mae Aniseya. Finding her without memory of recent events, the Jedi took her into custody.
Later, at the Jedi Temple, Fallum was among those escorting Mae into Rwoh’s control room. He assisted in removing her restraints before departing with the other guards, leaving Rwoh to question Mae about her identity and the events on Brendok.[2]
Personality and traits
Cantu Fallum was an amphibious Dokora distinguished by the dark, angular spotting that marked most of his body, leaving his face unpatterned. Like others of his species, he was fully capable of functioning both underwater and on land. Fallum was known for his blunt approach to diplomacy, a style that proved effective during tense negotiations between warring Aqualish factions on Ando.[1]
Powers and abilities
As a Jedi, Fallum was trained in the use of the Force and adept with a lightsaber.[2]
Equipment
During his time on Coruscant and throughout the Brendok mission, Fallum wore traditional Jedi attire, including layered robes and a brown cloak. His belt held his lightsaber and featured a belt buckle equipped with a transponder.[1]
