Canni was a male Umbaran technician living during the war against Zakuul. Some time after the War on Iokath he and Umbaran Shadow Assassin Elli-Vaa were protecting a hovertrain with a large supply of Adegan crystals heading for the Umbara capital city. The train was attacked by the Eternal Alliance Commander, Theron Shan and Lana Beniko, who attempted to intercept the shipment. Canni and Elli-Vaa attempted to stop them, but were defeated and killed.
