[Death Star explodes] - ―Candace and Phineas Flynn, on their biological father
The biological father of Candace and Phineas Flynn was a male individual who was married to Linda Flynn-Fletcher and started a family. Linda was later remarried with Lawrence Fletcher sometime after Candace's departure to join the Galactic Empire.[1] In 0 BBY,[2] Phineas was in the process of explaining to his long lost sister Candace what had happened to their biological father when the destruction of the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station cut the conversation short.[1]
Behind the scenes
The biological father of Candace and Phineas Flynn was mentioned in the crossover special Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars,[1] which premiered on July 26, 2014.[3] Flynn's biological father is an ongoing mystery throughout the main series Phineas and Ferb that has sprouted many theories and discussions within the fan community. The creators of the animated series Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh have actively denied almost every theory surrounding it.[4]
