A canary moth was a type of moth that had wings. While on[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet Chandrila[1] in 5 ABY,[3] the pilot Wedge Antilles walked through a spaceport to meet with his colleague, the pilot Norra Wexley. As he made his way toward a shuttle, he noticed sachi blossom petals flitting in the air and thought they looked similar to a canary moth's shape.[1]

Canary moths were mentioned in Aftermath: Life Debt, a 2016 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the second installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
