Camera Droids were cam droids used to film and broadcast the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition live. They were deployed during and between matches, and would fly over the arenas, pausing at intervals to slowly pan and capture footage.[1]

Behind the scenes

These droids first appeared in the video game Star Wars: Hunters, which was developed by NaturalMotion's BossAlien[1] and initially published by Zynga on November 16, 2021 as a soft launch[2] before the global release on June 4, 2024.[3] They were designed by concept artist Clint Young.[4]
