CZ-series tutor droids, also known as CZ-1 tutor droids, were a series of droids used to teach children a number of subjects, including mathematics and history.
One such droid, CZ-1, was owned by the Kyrell family of the planet Jelucan.[1] Another tutor droid, CZ-7OB, was in the employ of the Royal House of Alderaan, serving as a teacher to Crown Princess Leia Organa.[2] A tutor droid maintained an orphanage in Jedha City alongside its owners, Kaya Gimm and Killi Gimm.[3]
