CPD 1-13 was a medical droid that was assigned to the Imperial medical center on Coruscant where Irek Ismaren was transformed into a cyborg Dark Jedi.^[1]

When Luke Skywalker and his companions arrived at the ruined medcenter by accident during their reconnaissance of the conquered planet after Coruscant had fallen to the Yuuzhan Vong^[1] in 27 ABY,^[2] CPD 1-13 tried to kill them, only to halt his efforts after Mara Jade gave the droid a Bluenek authorization code that she had known from her days as an Emperor's Hand.^[1]
