CNLink, also known as a linked droid/computer system, was a technology used to link computer and droid systems, allowing them to perform shared tasks with the efficiency of a single being possessing their various skills. The unmanned Imperial Intelligence Tech 4 PDV messenger pod was "crewed" by a CNLinked Analysis/Encoding Computer, I2-AM3 astrogation droid, and I2-CG storage and transceiving droid.[1]

CNLink was first mentioned in the Imperial Sourcebook, a 1989 sourcebook written by Greg Gorden for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[2]
