CC-9002 was a clone trooper who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] Created on the planet Kamino from the genetic template of Jango Fett,[1] CC-9002 was a rookie clone in the Grand Army of the Republic. As a newly assigned trooper, they were given a manual with a letter from Jedi General Mace Windu. Using the information in the manual, CC-9002 rose through the ranks and became a Clone Commander.[2]
Behind the scenes
CC-9002 was featured in the Clone Commander Manual, published in 2009 by the Penguin Group. The manual features a letter written by Mace Windu, addressing the reader as a rookie clone working towards the rank of commander. The manual provides an identification card, which identifies the reader as CC-9002 and allows them to add their own photo to the card.[2]
