Bubbling poma was a type of liquid that was distilled from the seeds of poma-drupe fruits. When used in a deprivation chamber, the fluid caused hallucinations and helped relax an individual's muscles.[1] By 5 ABY,[2] the capital city of the planet Nakadia, Quarrow, had a poma-club establishment that used bubbling poma.[1]
While on Nakadia[1] in 5 ABY,[2] several New Republic operatives visited Quarrow and briefly considered the world's poma-club and its usage of the substance, wondering how the city's atmosphere would impact their upcoming mission. Not long after, the New Republic senator Rethalow utilized bubbling poma while in Quarrow's poma-club.[1]

Bubbling poma was mentioned in Aftermath: Empire's End, a 2017 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the third installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
