Michael Bruce Sinclair Logan[3] (May 15, 1946[1] - April 10, 2025[2]) was a cinematographer,[1] animator,[2] director,[4] and visual effects artist[3] among many more.[4] He was known for his work on 2001: A Space Odyssey, Tron, and Airplane!.[3] For Star Wars, he worked on second unit photography for the miniature and optical effects unit on Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[5]
He died in Los Angeles in the United States after a short illness.[2]
