A Brosso Mark II was the brand name of an older style of holoprojector, around 2 BBY. After an aborted smuggling run down the Rampa Rapids, Han Solo ended up with a Brosso Mark II projector, which he later used as part of a makeshift holotheatre during his stay in the Kamar Badlands.
Solo used the projector to show the only film he had access to: a holodocumentary called Varn, World of Water. Though Han found it quite dull, it fascinated the local Kamarian Badlanders. Due to communication difficulties, he failed to realize that the desert folk revered water and had set up a religion around his depictions of a water planet. He discovered his error after the cult members rioted when he attempted to show another film, Love is Waiting, forcing Solo and his companions to flee in the Millennium Falcon.
