Brian Jay Jones is a New York Times–bestselling writer and biographer who wrote the 2016 biography George Lucas: A Life.
Jones is also the author of the 2013 book Jim Henson: The Biography, a biography of Muppet creator (and consultant on Yoda) Jim Henson, as well as a 2008 biography of the American writer Washington Irving.
Jones has served as president and vice president of Biographers International Organization. He currently lives in Maryland with his wife.
He has stated that he believes Han shot first.
