Bozzie Barada was a Vulptereen[2] Podracer pilot who represented[1] the planet[3] Kessel in the Boonta Eve Classic[1] of 32 BBY.[4]

Behind the scenes

The character of Bozzie Barada was created for the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[1] However, Barada was cut from the final product,[1] and Barada's design was handed over to[5] the male Vulptereen Podracer pilot Dud Bolt,[6] who was known as "Bozzie Baranta" at one point during pre-production.[7]

The video game Star Wars: Episode I Racer features a character named Bozzie Baranta, who is also a Podracer pilot. The characters have the same first name, and a very similar last name.[8]
