Bothan stun spores were a microscopic[1] type of stun spore that caused respiratory irritation,[2] and were used in the compound Spore/B.[3] The spores entered a target's respiratory system,[2] numbing it[4] and causing disorientation[1] all while slowing the victim's breathing until unconsciousness. Although meant to be non-fatal, the spores could cause death if the victim went into respiratory failure.[2]
