Borrim Shub

Borrim Shub was an alien that found itself^[2] on the streets of the planet Daiyu^[1] in 9 BBY.^[4] While just trying to get by like everyone else, Shub encountered the human child Princess Leia Organa, who nearly ran into the alien. Shub growled and looked down at Organa, who had frozen in her tracks, then moved on down the street.^[1]

Borrim Shub was a big, hairy alien with wide, expressive yellow eyes, black and pink skin, and black and gray fur. While some would classify it as horrifying, others would consider it adorable. While on Daiyu, Shub wore a brown helmet, brown wrist guards, a brown belt, a dirty tan apron, and a red shirt.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Borrim Shub first appeared in the second episode of the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi television series,^[1] which premiered on May 26, 2022.^[5] The character was not identified in the series^[1] but received a name on a card in the 2023 Topps Disney Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi set released by The Topps Company, Inc. in 2023.^[2]
