The "Bookshelf", written by Jason Fry, was a department in several issues of the Star Wars Insider. It reviewed the most recent pieces of Star Wars literature, including novels, young adult novels, and reference books. It was first featured in Star Wars Insider 44, in which it was called "Book Shelf". It was renamed to "Jedi Library" with issue 77 as part of IDG Entertainment's overhaul of the magazine.
