- "Well, how 'bout a bombing on Chorgad? Mourner's Wail crew killed Unbroken Clan soldiers."
- ―An individual, to Nakano Lash
By 3 ABY,[2] a bombing on Chorgad was carried out by a crew of the Mourner's Wail Syndicate against their rival, the Unbroken Clan criminal syndicate. The bombing, which took place on the astronomical object Chorgad while the two syndicates warred with each other, resulted in the deaths of a number of Unbroken Clan soldiers.[1]
That year,[2] the Nautolan bounty hunter Nakano Lash was informed of the bombing by a friend of hers when she asked them for news. The friend told Lash that the bombing sounded like a problem of hers, as the Nautolan had started the war between the syndicates years earlier after she killed the heir of the Mourner's Wail during a job that went awry.[1] That same year,[2] the Unbroken Clan's General Vukorah carried out an unapproved attack on a spice run at the Smugglers' Refueling Station in[1] the Outer Rim's[3] Kessel sector by the Mourner's Wail to avenge those lost at Chorgad.[1]
