Blue Six was the call sign of the sixth member of Blue Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and multiple pilots went by the call sign Blue Six.
History
Rebel Alliance pilot Ace Azzameen flew as Blue Six for a raid on the freighter Suprosa as a member of a Bothan Y-wing squadron.[1][2]
A pilot designated "Blue Six" under the command of General Han Solo flew against Imperial TIE Series starfighters during a battle in the Milagro system.[3]
Behind the scenes
According to the Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope novel, Blue Six was John D. Branon. John D. ended up being Red Four in the film. According to the Marvel Star Wars comic adaptation, Blue Six was Jek Tono Porkins. Porkins eventually became Red Six in the film.[4][5][6]
