Blorp was a droid bounty hunter of the Haxion Brood criminal syndicate during the Imperial Era. At some point, he encountered the crew of the Stinger Mantis luxury yacht. Sometime after the encounter, the Stinger Mantis' pilot Greez Dritus told the Nightsister Merrin, another member of the crew, about Blorp.[1] Sometime between 12 BBY and 11 BBY,[2] when the Stinger Mantis crew infiltrated one of the Haxion Brood's asteroid bases in the Outer Rim Territories, Merrin was reminded of Blorp and thought of the other members of the Brood as "Blorps."[1]

Blorp was created for the 2023 novel Jedi: Battle Scars, which was written by Sam Maggs.[1]
