Black Spire Day was a holiday celebrated at Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu,[2] commemorating the founding of the outpost. Locals would decorate the outpost with colorful ribbons and tarps while celebrating with parades and feasts. It would occasionally end with a fireworks display.[1]
Behind the scenes
Black Spire Day was created for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which opened to guests at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019.[2] It is the in-universe name for celebrations held at Disney parks on "Star Wars Day" (May the Fourth).
