- " I spent two years in the Stromma diplomatic enclave at the edge of the Black City. I like these people, and I don't want to see them destroyed. […] If Nuso Esva isn't stopped, it's the only possible outcome. […] If he succeeds in holding the Red City, it'll be only a matter of time before he also takes the White City, then the Black City, and then the entire planet."
- ―Stromma contingent stormtrooper Lhagva
Located on the[1] Unknown Regions[2] planet Quethold, the Black City was one of the three cities inhabited intermittently by the Quesoth species. Ruled by the Quesoth Queen of the Black, the Black City contained the Stromma diplomatic enclave, situated at the city's edge, where the Empire of the Hand Stromma contingent stormtrooper Lhagva stayed for two years. After the inhabitants of Quethold's Red City arrived at the White City, they stayed there for eighteen years before traveling to the Black City, where they would remain until the Queen of the Black died.[1]
In 8 ABY,[3] stormtrooper Lhagva wished to free the Red City from alien warlord Nuso Esva's control, and when Stromma Council Liaison withdrew all Stromma from Imperial service, he refused to do so, as he liked the Quesoth, remarking his stay at the Black City.[1]
