The Biskaran Pirates[3] originated in[2] the Inner Rim's Biskar system.[1] At some point by 35 BBY, they launched the siege of Niele. That year, a Galactic Republic Judicial Forces fleet led by the Judicial officer Terrinald Screed broke the siege, although in the process he lost an eye to a Biskaran pirate armed with a vibro-ax.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Biskaran Pirates were introduced in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[3]
