Birth control were methods or devices used to prevent pregnancy. The Ho'Dins were masters of herbal birth control.[2] When Mara Jade Skywalker discovered that she was pregnant with her husband, the first though that occurred to her was that this couldn't have happened, as her disease could harm any unborn offspring and she had therefore taken all precautions to keep herself from becoming pregnant.[1]
