A Biofeedback Regulator was a cybernetic implant that was unusual for the fact that it did nothing for the user when installed on its own.[1]
Characteristics
The biofeedback regulator was a complex, full-body system that was expensive and took substantial expertise to install. Intended to be used alongside other cybernetic enhancements, when interfaced with other implants the regulator redirected natural bio-electricity flows to work alongside and augment the power sources and function of said implants. The regulator also thoroughly integrated with the auto-immune responses of the host body, preventing rejection of even the most invasive upgrades. Altogether a biofeedback regulator allowed for synergy between implants and bodily functions, and massively decreased the strain they had on the body overall; users of biofeedback regulators often could have more cybernetics installed than was normal as a result, though only one regulator could be used at a time.[1]
