The Binexan Shark was a legendary shark native to the planet Manaan. A predatory creature, the Binexan Shark was said to rise back out of the ocean depths in a new and more deadly form when defeated.[1] The Selkath Shuuru compared the threat of the Sith Empire to the Binexan Shark.[2]
The Galactic Republic's Binexan-class Destroyer was named after it.[1]
