Beth Petters was a Republic pilot during the High Republic Era.[2] In 232 BBY,[1] Petters participated in cleanup efforts for the Great Hyperspace Disaster and its subsequent hyperspace debris Emergences. During the 40th Emergence, Petters was on board a Longbeam cruiser with fellow pilot Marcus Augur as they attempted to retrieve the flight recorder of the Legacy Run freighter. The group was attacked by the Nihil marauders' cruiser, the Lourna Dee, as the pirate vessel tried to destroy the flight recorder with a missile. However, Petter and Augur's Longbeam and Jedi Knight Te'Ami's Jedi Vector intercepted the missile shot, killing the trio. Afterward, the technician Keven Tarr and the Jedi Master Avar Kriss discussed the lives lost in the 40th Emergence attack.[2]

Beth Petters was mentioned in the 2021 novel Light of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase I.[3]
