Beta Squad was a military unit of the reconstituted Sith Empire during the Cold War. It was guarding Colonel Gorik's base, the Kalarath Imperial Encampment, on Tatooine along with Alpha Squad, Delta Squad and Gamma Squad. When the Havoc Squad showed up to extract Vanto Bazren and stop Gorik's operation, it was engaged by Delta Squad, while Alpha, Beta and Delta evacuated along with the Colonel.[1]
Behind the scenes
Beta Squad is mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic during the Trooper class mission "Evacuation" on Tatooine only if the player takes the dark side option to pursue Gorik and leave Bazren to die.[1]
