During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Republic Navy maintained a fleet at Bestine IV. During a mission to Vassek 3 to capture General Grievous, at the implication of Jedi General Kit Fisto, Clone Commander Fil contacted Niner to contact the fleet for additional reinforcements. Niner was killed subsequently by IG-100 MagnaGuards before he could contact the fleet.[1]
