The Belmont diadem was an artifact tracked down by the pirate Phee Genoa[1] by 18 BBY.[2] When she later went on a treasure hunt with the Bad Batch in the Kaldar Trinary system, the booby traps Genoa encountered at the entrance to the ancient superweapon Skara Nal reminded her of her search for the diadem. Hunter, the Batch's leader, interrupted Genoa's reminiscence by snapping that he did not care as he was irritated by the several near-lethal situations the group had already encountered.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Belmont diadem was mentioned in the Star Wars: The Bad Batch second season episode "Entombed,"[1] which premiered on Disney+ on January 25, 2023.[3]
