A behavioral inhibitor was a piece of technology that controlled a droid's behavior. They came in various levels of strictness, depending on the extremity of the droid's behavior. During the age of the Empire, rogue archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra fitted the specialized assassin droid BT-1 with behavioral inhibitors due to its homicidal tendencies.[1]
