The Battle of Vulcusion was a conflict[1] that shared its name with the Expansion Region's Vulcusion system.[2] Sergeant Frumm, who at one point unsuccessfully attempted to join the ranks of the Lightning Squadron—a Galactic Republic and Galactic Empire military unit active during the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War—was known as a hero of the Battle of Vulcusion.[1]

The Battle of Vulcusion was introduced in a section of the 2009 Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Galaxy at War[1] authored by Daniel Wallace.[3]
