During the Imperial Period, the Galactic Empire enslaved the population of the forested world of Shar'Ack. The natives of Shar'Ack, the Shaliz'Na, were a sentient species of artisans addicted to alcohol. Following their enslavement, the Galactic Empire took control of all liquor manufactured on and imported to their planet.[1]
