A battle at Reytha was an engagement during the New Republic liberation campaign after the Battle of Endor. In the year 6 ABY,[4] the New Republic sent part of the Third Fleet under the command of Admiral Willham Burke[3] from Kashyyyk into the Expansion Region, where they attacked the planet Reytha.[4] Admiral Burke commanded the naval forces, while General Brenn Tantor led the ground forces to a victory over the Imperials.[3] Upon learning of the defeat at Reytha, Imperial forces abandoned the nearby planets Gyndine and Cyrillia and retreated to the Core Worlds.[4]
