The Battle of Gyndine was a battle of the Great Sith War, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, in 3996 BBY. At Gyndine, the two sides fought with the Republic emerging as the victors.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Battle of Gyndine makes its only appearance in The Essential Atlas. It only illustrates the battle on the galactic map rather than in prose.
