- "I'm sure that extra ten percent efficiency would have been useful at the Battle of Foerost!"
- ―An Imperial ensign, to Tabor Seitaron, on the Herald's upgrades
The Battle of Foerost[2] occurred by around 5 BBY,[1] sharing its name with the terrestrial astronomical object Foerost.[3] Captain Tabor Seitaron, a teacher of military history at the Galactic Empire's Carida Academy, participated in the battle and considered his part to be among his career's triumphs. When giving the captain a tour around[2] the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer[4] Herald[2] in 3 ABY,[5] an Imperial ensign commented to Seitaron on how the Herald's ten percent increase in efficiency could have been useful at the Battle of Foerost.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Battle of Foerost was mentioned in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, written by Alexander Freed.[2]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Battlefront: Twilight Company establishes that Tabor Seitaron's active service predated the Star Destroyer design that the Herald was part of, which Star Wars: The Rebel Files established to be an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer. Star Wars: Timelines dates the introduction of the Imperial II-class to around 5 BBY, meaning Seitaron must have therefore retired by then. As the Battle of Foerost took place during Seitaron's active service, it must have also taken place by around 5 BBY.
