The battle at Padmé's tomb^[4] was fought at the Tomb of Padmé Amidala between the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader and the Amidalans, who sought revenge on the Sith Lord for killing Padmé Amidala, the former queen and senator of the planet Naboo, and Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, though the Amidalans were unaware that Skywalker was in fact still alive, and had become Vader. Vader and his death trooper guard fought past the Amidalans, soon reaching the tomb itself. There, Vader was confronted by Amidala's former handmaidens, and, while the Dark Lord of the Sith, overcome with memories of his past with Amidala, found himself unwilling to kill the women, he successfully defeated them and entered the tomb.^[3]
