A final battle between the Empire of the Hand[1] confederation[2] and a warlord took place. During the battle, Imperial Baron Soontir Fel lost his eye, which prompted him to retire.[1] In 19 ABY,[3] Fel, who was wearing an eye patch, recounted his loss at the battle to former Emperor's Hand Mara Jade after she infiltrated the Empire of the Hand Hand of Thrawn complex on the Wild Space planet Nirauan.[1]

Behind the scenes

The battle was mentioned in the 1998 novel Vision of the Future, the final installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology.[1]
