- "Grand Admiral Batch was assassinated by his second in command, who then took the ships of Batch's task force and joined Warlord Harrsk in the Deep Core."
- ―The New Essential Chronology
Grand Admiral Martio Batch had command of a task force composed of starships.[1] Following the loss of the Super Star Destroyer Terror[2] in 3 ABY.[3] Batch took the ships of his[2] task force[1] and withdrew to the Outer Rim Territories for months.[2] In around 4 ABY,[4] following the Battle of Endor in that same year, the second in command,[1] with the help of the crew[2] of the task force, assassinated Batch.[1] Following the assassination, Warlord Blitzer Harrsk recruited the crew,[5] and Batch's second in command took the ships of the task force to join[1] Harrsk's splinter kingom,[2] Zero Command.[5]

"Who's Who: Imperial Grand Admirals" — Star Wars Insider 66 establishes that following Martio Batch's assassination, his crew joined the newly-formed splinter kingdom led by Blitzer Harrsk. As The Essential Atlas establishes that Harrsk's splinter faction was formed in 4 ABY, the assassiation of Batch and the subsequent assimilation into Harrsk's faction must have taken place around that year.
