The Barsha family was a human family that hailed from Corellia, a planet located in the Core Worlds of the galaxy. During the Clone Wars, they were a powerful and wealthy family that owned a Corellian manufacturing company. When the Clone Wars ended, the family was set to secure a contract in the manufacturing of Star Destroyers for the Galactic Empire, which would have made them one of the most powerful companies on Corellia. However, Sliro Barsha, an illegitimate son, sold the Barsha family out to the Empire in order to earn a job as a director in the Imperial Security Bureau.[1]
