Barr, designated as CT-41/14-0301, was a clone trooper lieutenant in the Grand Army of the Republic who fought in the Clone Wars. Barr was the leader of the 2nd Platoon of the 327th Star Corps's Bacta Company. The platoon had four squads under Barr's command—a total of thirty-two men and four medics.

Biography

Barr, alongside Bly, Galle, and Inc, utilizing jetpacks to ambush battle droids.

Born on the planet Kamino from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett,^[1] CT-41/14-0301^[2] was a male^[1] clone trooper^[2] created to serve the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.^[1] CT-41/14-0301 served in the 327th Star Corps and eventually earned the nickname "Barr."^[3]

Early in the war, the 327th, led by Clone Commander Bly, attempted to reap information from the memory banks of a Confederate tactical droid, by setting up a trap in a rocky canyon. They were able to fabricate an information bunker, which attracted the attention of the tactical droid. In turn, the droid ordered his troops to attack the bunker, prompting Barr and the men of the 327th to attack them from the rear. They charged in on jetpacks and began firing, with Commander Bly ordering Barr and Galle to take out the super battle droids. They were able to effectively dispatch the tactical droid's troops, while Jedi General Aayla Secura beheaded the tactical droid. Since the droid had not gone into cyberostasis, they would be able to plunder its memory banks for intel.^[4]

As the war continued, Barr was eventually promoted to the rank of lieutenant. As a Clone Lieutenant, Barr led the 327th's 2nd Platoon, which comprised of thirty-two clone troopers and four clone medics divided into four squads.^[2] Towards the war's end, Barr fought in the Battle of Felucia and continued to serve under the command of Bly and alongside the now lieutenants Galle and Inc. During the battle, Barr accompanied Inc and Jedi General Barriss Offee in an attempt to ambush a battle droid patrol. During the ambush, Inc's blaster goes into carbon flush, causing the clone to get killed. Getting overwhelmed, Offee ordered Barr to go get the rest of the squad. As Barr left to get help, the clones received Order 66, and when Barr returned with help, Galle ordered an AT-TE to fire on Offee, killing her.^[5]

Personality and traits

As a clone of Jango Fett, Barr stood at 1.83 meters tall and had tan skin.^[1]

Equipment

During the Clone Wars, Barr wore Phase I clone trooper armor adorned with the yellow markings of the 327th Star Corps. During the battle at the information bunker, Barr utilized a jetpack and a blaster.^[4] Barr would eventually substitute his Phase I armor for Phase II clone trooper armor, and began to wore a pauldron around their neck.^[5]
