Barbara Affonso was a model maker and costume accessory specialist who began working at Industrial Light & Magic in 1982.[1] She worked with the costume department on Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, creating custom headgear for Jabba the Hutt's dancers, Yarna d'al' Gargan and Oola.[2] She continued to work at ILM into the 1990s, working as model project supervisor.[1]
