Barabi was a made-up planet, supposedly in the Outer Rim Territories. Luke Skywalker once lied about smuggling spice on Barabi to his friends on Tatooine.[1]
Behind the scenes
Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, indicated in March 2023 that Barabi was excluded from The Essential Atlas Online Companion because it was an imaginary location.[2]
