Bandonia was a terrestrial celestial body[2] located in the Bandonian system. It was a part of the Arrowhead, or the Slice portion of the Core Worlds.[1] Bandonia shared its name with the disease known as the Bandonian Plague.[4]
The estate of the family of[3] the Galactic Empire Lieutenant Boes Tark was located at Bandonia, and Tark's Human son, Moxin,[5] who was born around 23 BBY,[6] grew up there.[5] When he was eighteen years old, however, Moxin Tark fled his family's estate, eventually becoming a bounty hunter.[3]
Behind the scenes
Bandonia was first mentioned in Louis J. Prosperi's 1993 West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game sourcebook Wanted by Cracken.[5] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Bandonian system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square L-10.[1]

- ↑ Wanted by Cracken is dated to three years after the Battle of Endor, which The New Essential Chronology dates to 4 ABY. Therefore, the events of Wanted by Cracken translate to 7 ABY. In addition, Wanted by Cracken states Moxin Tark is thirty years old. He must have therefore been born around 23 BBY.
