"Balada's Bacta… For when you need a quick pick-me-up."
―Boz Vega — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[1]

Balada's Bacta was a type of bacta[1]—a liquid healing agent[2]—that shared its name with[1] the Grand Arena[3] co-owner Balada the Hutt.[1] In 9 ABY,[4] the bacta was advertised by the Dowutin announcer Boz Vega at the competitive sporting show Hunters of the Outer Rim during its matches.[1]

Behind the scenes

Balada's Bacta was first introduced in the video game Star Wars: Hunters, which was developed by NaturalMotion's BossAlien[1] and initially published by Zynga on November 16, 2021, as a soft launch[5] before the global release on June 4, 2024.[6] The game was then taken offline on October 1, 2025.[7] It was mentioned in one of the interchangeable audio lines Vega says during gameplay, though the capitalization was never specified.[1]
