- "Many of you owe me a favor for one reason or another and you know it. Looking at you Baktor, Pavs, Mogark, Vinvin…among others. This is me collecting. Help us stop the Nihil. Help us save Corellia."
- ―Alys Ongwa

Baktor was a resident of Coronet City—the capital city of the Core Worlds planet Corellia—during the High Republic Era.[1] By 230 BBY,[2] they had come to owe a favor to Alys Ongwa—a Corellian who ran the Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection business—who therefore had Baktor's contact information saved in a list.[1]
That year,[2] during a battle against the Nihil pirates at the planet's shipyards, Ongwa sent out a message across the city requesting help for her, her company, and several Jedi. During the message, she called out Baktor's favor to her, intending to collect on it by asking them to travel to the shipyards to help prevent Corellia from falling to the Nihil. Eventually, the Nihil forces were defeated.[1]
Behind the scenes
Baktor was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, written by Daniel José Older and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
