Badger was the designation given to a pair of cargo ferries used by former Galactic Empire Admiral Harkov's fleet following Harkov's defection to the Rebellion. Both vessels, designated Badger 1 and Badger 2, were present at the Rebel outpost DS 5 in the Parmel system during an Imperial attack on the facility in 3 ABY. During the battle, the ships laid mines around the station.
Behind the scenes
Badger 1 and Badger 2 appeared in the 1994 video game Star Wars: TIE Fighter.[1] The ferries can be optionally destroyed by the player during the mission "Tactical Superiority"; doing so will net the player 3,000 points for each ship.[2]
